We Become What We Behold
A game about news cycles, vicious cycles, infinite cycles.
Sound on. Point and click.
Mirror of We Become What We Behold by Nicky Case (original). The author released the code and art under CC0, so anyone may copy and host it. Most sound effects are CC0 too; a few are CC BY and credited below. Built from github.com/ncase/wbwwb at the last commit before its Persian localization, which is the English original. The game files are unmodified.
Cartoon violence, including a shooting and mass murder. Stylized, with some blood.
You run a news camera in a park full of small, ordinary people. Point and click to film whatever you like. What you frame goes on the TV news, and the people watching start acting like it.
Nicky Case released the code and art into the public domain, which is why it can be mirrored here. The game's own title screen warns about snobbery, rudeness and mass murder.
